Principal's Message

Andy Picture.JPG

Dear Families of Olive Grove,

Please join us next Wednesday, May 16th, for our annual Open House.  Open House will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.  This is a great time to celebrate the accomplishments of our students as a community.  I look forward to seeing everyone that evening.

It is my pleasure to introduce Mrs. Desyrae Stevenson as the assistant principal who will be joining our school next year.  Mrs. Stevenson has worked for several years in elementary education as a kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, and a teacher on special assignment to support classroom teachers in curriculum and instruction.  Mrs. Stevenson is also a Dry Creek parent, and her children attend Dry Creek schools.  Mrs. Stevenson will officially join our school in July.  Please join me in welcoming Desyrae to our school community!

As a reminder, our students in grades 3-5 are continuing to complete this year's state CAASPP testing.  Testing is currently in progress and will end on May 25th.  Please help your students to get a good night sleep and a nutritious breakfast every morning so they are well prepared to do their best.

We are actively accepting enrollment for kindergarten, but space is running out.  Please make sure you stop by the office as soon as possible if you have a student to enroll in next year's kindergarten program.

Our last day of school this year is Thursday, June 7th, and it is a minimum day.  All students will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.

Sincerely,

Andy Giannini
Principal
